Accessible Lists in SharePoint

Accessible lists help users understand content structure and sequence. Here's how to create them: 

  1. Use the built-in list buttons in the SharePoint page editor: 
  2. Click the ‘Bulleted List’ button for unordered lists. 
  3. Click the ‘Numbered List’ button for ordered lists  
  4. Keep list items short and clear, using parallel structure for readability. 
  5. Avoid using lists for layout purposes—use them only for actual list content. 
  6. Ensure proper heading levels are used above lists to provide context. 
  7. Preview your page to confirm that lists are rendered correctly and are easy to navigate.
