A major renovation of Avery, Azalea, and Oxford, started in 2015, was completed in time for fall term 2016. These three former student housing facilities were all completely inaccessible before renovation. Now each building has an accessible entrance at the main entrance for each building, an elevator to reach all floors, and accessible restrooms throughout the buildings.
Avery now houses the Human Services Resource Center and Food Pantry, Childcare and Family Resources, and some UHDS offices. Azalea will house a new child care center when fully completed. Oxford now houses University Housing and Dining Services administrative offices.
